UVI Emulation II

The UVI Emulation II program is a bit like a vintage "sampler" instrument. You can load samples from memory cards or SD cards, or you can use files on your hard drive. It comes loaded with over 1,300 presets, and 800+ layers of sample, arp, and drum sounds that you can layer and configure, all with a very smooth interface. The E2-1 is a proprietary format from UVI that allows you to load samples, and arrange and manipulate them into your own custom samples. Once they are saved, they can be synchronized to the main preset list. With over 40 re-assignable knobs, the E2-1 can morph into different synth, string, and effect sounds, and it's possible to layer samples to create your own instruments. The E2-1 comes loaded with 1,300 presets and over 800 layers of arp and drum samples, and plenty of re-assignable knobs. The Oberheim DPX-1 is a unique-sounding sampler that features a revolutionary 36 note keyboard. You can easily use the DPX-1 to create unique sound. The oscillator is LFO and Sync sounds, and the modulation is pitch and control. Each note on the keyboard is a different sample, and you can set them to play in octaves, and even transpose them. There are three sample memory slots, and each slot can load one of three different sounds: Oscillator, Sync, and FTT. There are two buttons at the bottom of the screen that let you access or lock a memory slot. Even though the DPX-1 is a sample-based instrument, it is a very powerful instrument. There are two 16 track sequencers, a drum machine, a reverb, an effects section, a few knobs, and a stereo output. You can use the stereo output to listen to your samples playing back through your headphones. Strokeman Drumulation This is an exciting new UVI synth offering. The drum machine on the E2-1 is really powerful, and can sound like a lot of different drum machines, including the mighty . You can also layer up to 16 drum samples, and use that as a base sound for different types of drums. You can also use different morphs to morph one drum sample into another. Drum mode is for getting those rhythmic patterns going, or be359ba680
